The following images are available from the "William Gray Purcell Job Files" digital images database served by the IMAGES system at the University of Minnesota Libraries.  These thumbnail links go directly to their access and use statements for each image.  A (usually) higher resolution image can be downloaded from the citation display page; such files may show highly useful detail, but are often 200-300K in size.  Because their web site is a separate resource, the links here open new browser windows.

The image to the left is in the Rose Valley file, but on the basis of the scale (right for the Lake Place fireplace but not the Rose Valley cottage), rendering style (Purcell's earlier 1910s hand) and the quality of the linen (similar in texture to that of the 1912-1915 working drawing sets) I suspect that it was intended for the master bedroom fireplace on the second floor of the Edna S. Purcell residence known as "Lake Place" in Minneapolis (1913).  As historical consultant, I noted the drawing in this capacity for the Minneapolis Institute of Arts restoration and still think a copy should be exhibited next to the hearth.
