Letter from Richard W. Bock to William Gray Purcell (January 25, 1915)

 My dear Mr. Purcell--

Your very appreciative letter came to hand relieving me of considerable anxiety as to Nil's trip. And that he arrived so well, and with so warm a reception, has been one great consolation to me.

I am pleased that you like the group so well. It has afforded me great pleasure in doing it, and I feel I have succeeded very well with a most unusual subject in a most original way.

I think you will like it more and more with association, and that should be significant for the object it was intended. The agreed price of the group was $100.00

Your request regarding the little faun. You may use him as you suggest for a little while longer. Perhaps you will soon be able to secure a much better substitute for it in the way of an order of which you may have a copy.

Your sincerely,

Richard W. Bock [signature]
